Cross Infection Control
We follow all necessary guidelines pertaining to cross infection control. Reusable instruments are cleaned using a ultrasonic bath and then autoclave sterilised accordingly. Disposable items are used wherever possible to eliminate cross infection.
Children are important to the practice. We do encourage parents to bring their children as early as physically possible for a dental examination. Establishing good dietary habits at an early age is the key to a sound dentition. Regular monitoring of the growing dentition is also vital in reducing the need for excessive dental treatment in the future.
Your Dental Records
Your dental records will remain confidential and secure. However, from time to time we may need to release these to the NHS Business Services Authority as part of our on-going clinical review process. Under the Data Protection Act 1998 you have a legal right to apply for access to health information held about you, please speak to the Practice Manager regarding this.
We aim to make your experience at the practice as pleasant as possible. However, should you have any complaints, please contact our Practice Manager who will be able to deal with your complaint and talk you through the procedure. Alternatively, you can pick up a copy of the procedure from reception.
Zero Tolerance Policy
We operate a zero tolerance policy with regard to violence and abuse and we reserve the right to remove violent or abusive patients from our list with immediate effect in order to safeguard practice staff, patients and other persons.
